Founder and Director

Alison Plaut is a strategic writer, content strategist, and impact-driven thought leader with over a decade of experience translating complex topics into actionable, compelling content.

 

With a deep background in personal finance, ESG investing, and content marketing, she has written for top-tier platforms including The Motley Fool, Benzinga, MoneyLion, and Yahoo.

 

She has helped clients double their revenue through effective content strategies, SEO optimization, and brand storytelling that resonates.

Beyond writing, Alison brings extensive global leadership experience through roles with nonprofits in India, Nepal, Brazil, and New Zealand. She has designed and scaled empowerment programs reaching tens of thousands of women, led cross-cultural teams, and developed measurement frameworks to drive donor engagement.

 

Holding multiple graduate degrees—including an MBA focused on sustainability—Alison blends rigorous analysis with empathetic communication. She currently serves on seven international boards supporting education, cultural preservation, and sustainable development.

MARK J. DROZDOWSKI, ED.D.

Senior Strategist, Higher Education & Thought Leadership

Mark is a veteran communications executive, writer, and educator with more than 30 years of experience shaping narratives across higher education, media, and philanthropy.

A Harvard-trained educator and published author, he has served in senior leadership roles in fundraising and communications and has consulted for a broad range of universities, nonprofits, and foundations.

 

A former columnist for The Chronicle of Higher Education and Inside Higher Ed, a contributor to The New York Times Magazine, and a lead writer for BestColleges, Mark brings editorial excellence and strategic insight to every engagement.​

 

His specialties include institutional storytelling, fundraising communications, speechwriting, and thought leadership for education and mission-driven organizations.

Mark leads projects across education, philanthropy, and strategic content, helping clients articulate their purpose and elevate their public profile.

HANNAH MUNIZ

Senior Strategist and Editor

Hannah Muniz is an accomplished editor and writer with over a decade of experience in digital content, specializing in college planning, test preparation, and liberal arts education. She brings a sharp editorial eye and a deep understanding of what students need to succeed, informed by years of freelance writing, copy editing, and editorial leadership.
 

Her writing on higher education, language learning, and travel has been featured on widely-read platforms including PrepScholar, FluentU, and Mapquest Travel. A former JET Program participant, Hannah also taught English in Japan, an experience that continues to inform her commitment to cross-cultural learning and global education.
 

Hannah holds an MA in Japanese studies from the University of Michigan and a BA in English and Japanese from the University of Southern California. She is especially passionate about expanding college access and supporting students on their educational journeys.

Content Strategist and Thought Leader

Holland is a seasoned writer with over 10 years of experience creating strategic content for nonprofit and higher education institutions. He specializes in translating complex ideas into clear, engaging copy.

Holland has crafted high-performing pieces for top-tier educational brands like U.S. News & World Report, Wiley, AccessU, and BestColleges. 

Beyond higher ed, Holland is also an accomplished ghostwriter and editor, collaborating with senior executives, public figures, and faith-based organizations on books and long-form content. He holds a master’s degree in public policy and brings a deep understanding of mission-driven communication to every project.

Senior Editor and Content Strategist

Danika Miller is a Denver-based editor and writer with nearly a decade of experience in digital content strategy, writing, and editorial leadership.

She specializes in creating high-performing content without sacrificing clarity or voice. She has experience writing and editing across education, finance, tech, and lifestyle verticals.

 

Her work has appeared in outlets such as BestColleges, The Simple Dollar, Her Campus, CreditCards.com, Reviews.com, Freshome, MyMove and Affordable Colleges Online.

Before her career in content, she worked at Disneyland, edited children’s books, and was an ocean advocate at the Seattle Aquarium — a journey that reflects her curiosity and commitment to purposeful storytelling.
